on the Emitter Turn-off (ETO) Thyristor
technology. Rated at 4500 V, 4000 A, ETO
Thyristor is suitable for use in medium voltage
drive, utility power electronics systems (FACTS
devices), solid state transfer switch and other
high power applications at frequency up to 2
kHz.
Why ETO Thyristor?
ETO Thyristor is an advanced high power semiconductor switch based on the integration of proven Gate
Turn-off (GTO) thyristor and MOS transistor. It is therefore inherently cheaper than competing technology
such as IGCT and IGBT. Additionally, the ETO is packed with advanced features that make it easier for
your applications:
